Meditation has been a key aspect of human enlightenment since Vedic period and regular meditative practices lead to a calm, clear and relaxed mind. By alleviating stress, meditation also improves physical health. Medical practitioners now recommend meditation to their patients to reduce stress levels as it is increasingly evident that practice of Meditation maintains the heart rate and blood pressure and enhances the body’s immune response.
Meditation and Research Group, acronym as MARG, is a daughter arm of Darshan Education Foundation and is focused on deciphering psychosomatic and behavioral virtues of people performing SOS meditation by rigorous scientific analysis and their ability to cope with different challenges.
A team comprising of physicists, biochemists, doctors and artificial intelligence experts are working on various biophysical, biochemical and molecular biology tools to understand the scientific basis on observed positive impact of SOS meditation. We investigate the effects of practicing the SOS meditation technique on stress, anxiety and other well-being parameters using various scientific methods.
